  • McPhar International becomes the first consortium to start the OGP surveys in India.

    April 7, 2017:McPhar International, together with their aviation partners, M/s Kiwi Air, became the first consortium to commence airborne surveys over the Obvious Geological Potential (OGP) areas of India. Hon’ble Minister of Mines, Government of India, Shri Piyush Goyal, inaugurated the first survey from Nagpur airport, via video-conferencing from New Delhi.

  • Government of india lauds mcphar’s successful efforts in being the only consortium to start the ogp surveys on time

    April 7, 2017: The Geological Survey of India (GSI) awarded airborne survey contracts to 3 different consortiums to Acquire, Process and Interpret airborne geophysical survey data over the 4 OGP exploration blocks that went to tender in 2016. Out of these, McPhar consortium were awarded Blocks 1 &4. GSI had set an inauguration date of 7th April for all of the 3 consortiums to begin their respective survey programs. However, McPhar consortium were the only ones to meet this deadline successfully.

    January 2017 – In 2015 the Remote Sensing & Airborne Surveys division of the Geological Survey of India (GSI) awarded McPhar International a contract for the operation and maintenance of their deHavilland DHC-6 Twin Otter aircraft (VT-ELX) equipped with a high-sensitivity magnetometer and radiometricsurvey system.
